This project involved the remodelling of a grade II listed barn within the green belt conservation area of Wilton on the outskirts of Beaconsfield. The barn was purchased by the current homeowner in the 1990s after its conversion to a house by a developer. After raising their family in the house, the homeowners became determined to reinstate significant historical features that were lost in the earlier conversion of the building. We have worked together with the homeowners to reconfigure the space to better reflect the historical form of the building and to bring it up to a standard to better accommodate the lifestyle of the owners.
